Privacy Policy

Effective May 27, 2026.

1. Who we are

Train to Triumph (“Train to Triumph,” “we,” “us”), operated by Train2triumph LLC, runs traintotriumph.org and the youth basketball training programs, camps, sessions, and evaluations offered through it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us when you register for a camp, session, or evaluation, or submit a contact/lead form: parent or guardian name, athlete (player) name, email address, phone number, the athlete’s age or grade, your responses to evaluation and custom form fields, how you heard about us, and your agreement to any liability waiver (with a timestamp).

Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers; Stripe shares with us a transaction status and amount.

Information collected automatically when you browse: device and browser type, pages viewed, referring source and campaign parameters (UTM), and similar usage data, via cookies and the analytics tools described in Section 6.

3. Children's information

Our training works primarily with youth athletes, but all registration and account activity is completed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not ask children to register or to submit information directly, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child.

Any information about an athlete that a parent or guardian provides — such as name, age or grade, and evaluation notes — is used solely for internal purposes: to deliver accurate, age-appropriate training and programming for that athlete. We do not use a child’s information for advertising and we do not sell it. If you believe a child provided information directly, contact us at dale@train2triumph.org and we will delete it.

4. How we use your information

To process registrations and payments; schedule and deliver camps, sessions, and evaluations; send transactional emails (confirmations, receipts, schedule changes); respond to inquiries; send marketing emails when you have opted in (see Section 7); operate, secure, and improve the site; and comply with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract:

  • Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage): sign-in, hosting, and media storage.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Resend: transactional email delivery.
  • Constant Contact: marketing email lists (opted-in recipients only).
  • Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity: analytics and advertising measurement (see Section 6).
  • Watchtower: our first-party error-monitoring service.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use essential cookies (for sign-in and security) and, subject to your consent, analytics and advertising technologies — Google Analytics 4 / Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity. On your first visit you are asked to accept or reject non-essential cookies; until you accept, we apply Google Consent Mode in a default-denied state and these tools do not store identifying cookies. You can change your choice any time by clearing the traintotriumph.org cookies for this site.

7. Email marketing & your choices

We send marketing emails only to recipients who opt in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time; we honor unsubscribe requests promptly. Transactional emails about a registration you made are not marketing and may still be sent.

8. Data retention & security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, accounting, and reporting requirements, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

9. Your rights & choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to certain processing. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we do not sell personal information. To make a request, email us at dale@train2triumph.org.

10. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party sites (for example, social media or partners). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies before providing information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
